Wexford thrash metallers Cronus live in the Zoo Club, Kilkenny. Once again playing around with settings in the low light conditions for a studio still series of live shots.

Make Up/Special Fx artist Carey Harte adds some last minute touches on the Atrax Mantis ‘Condemned to Hatred’ E.P cover shoot. The lads will soon be releasing the artwork for their upcoming debut and I’ll blog more about the shoot then.

One of several promo shots for session bassist Tanya O’Callaghan, I’m slowly but surely getting through my backlog of photos. This was taken in January. Keeping it simple, using a standard household lamp for the shoot.

Slowly but surely catching up on my huge backlog of work, did a little playing around in photoshop on this one to remove the bass guitar leaving only the string. More of a test than anything else as I have some ideas I want to try out.

I’m in the middle of my final college exams at the moment (Cultural Sociology was this morning) but plenty of new series to come soon. For now here’s another shot from my promo-shoot with Atrax Mantis, it’s one of my favourites.

We shot the cover art for the E.P yesterday, working with Make-up/Special Fx artist Carey Harte. I’m gonna hold off on writing a blog about the shoot until Atrax Mantis release the E.P artwork (which looks awesome).

Carlow Fire Services remove car wrecks from outside I.T Carlow after a crash scene re-enactment, as part of Road Safety Awareness Week 2008. 366 people died on Irish roads last year, thats the equivalent of 1 in 8 students in I.T Carlow.

I’m into the final stretch of college, in a few short weeks everything will change. But first I have to get through my thesis, endless assignments and then of course exams. It’s going to be stressful and I know I won’t have much time to be working on pictures, I already have a huge backlog. I find myself constantly doing exactly as the title suggests.
