A behind-the-scenes snapshot, taken using my Nikon CoolPix S210, during extensive rehearsals for the Devious Theatre Company production of ‘Trainspotting’.
You can read my extremely long re-cap of my experiences during the show here on the Oss237.com Blog, it was easily one of the greatest weeks of my life (so far)! I’ll also be posting all of the awesome reviews on my blog.

That’s both brilliant and disturbing. Tell me, did the part get under your skin (no pun intended) at all? Or was it all a bit of a laugh? You were so much into the role that I didn’t even see Ross on stage. It must effect you in some way.
Cheers Darren,
Good pun even if unintended! To be honest, I’ve never experienced anything like this show. It was so intense and exhausting but at the same time an amazing experience from start to finish. Such a challenge for me, but I really wanted that challenge.
I took this shot the first night we start using syringes and learning how to “cook up”. The mood was far from “a laugh”, we were all a little freaked out to be honest. But it helped us avoid being messy or unrealistic about the drug use in the end.
I literally spent weeks speaking Scottish and trying to get into character, the whole show has had such an affect on me, I can’t begin to explain it. Post-show-blues have never been so depressing. Thankfully, we’re already in rehearsals for ‘Smitten’ in August.
