Tanya Tattoo 2
January 25, 2008 by oss237

The second shot in my series of alternative body art portraits, working with the very beautiful Tanya O’Callaghan. Simple use of selective desaturation to bring out the red in the tattoo. All of Tanya’s tattoos were inked by artist Sean Boon in the Vibe Studio, Mullingar.
You can see the entire series of shots here and read more about the shoot and future shoots with Tanya here on my blog.

i usually don’t like the whole chinese symbol tattoo think but that looks wicked…especially the one under the cross…………but ross…does this mean you saw her naky???
Regarding above comment… There are no chinese symbols on my spine tattoo the nearest thing is the 2 japanese symbols either side which together mean Rhythm in music, The one under the Vajra(cross) Is a Bass Clef for my instrument, The Vajra(cross) itself is off Tools Laterlaus album from an ALex Grey design! The others include my birth year(tiger “86″), a buddist meditation symbol and my 2 latest are a tribute to the legendary Led Zeppelin rhythm section! Alot of thought behind all:)
Where did you get the idea for the top of your tattoo, the bit that looks a little like a dragon head. I absolutely love the whole tat but that bit in particular, I’m getting something similar with ‘mother’ and ‘father’ written in japanese symbols on my shoulders but I can’t decide what to have in the middle, this pic has given me inspiration though!
hey god i love those 3 symbols under the cross all together, i was born in 1989 , could u pleeeeeeeeeease give me a symbol that would match that, cause i reaaaally love those symbols and if u do i would be so grateful and i’d go and tattoo it next week n send u a pic
