Tanya Tattoo 1

Tanya-Tattoo-11.jpg
My first series of alternative body art portraits, once again working with the very beautiful Tanya O’Callaghan. Simple use of selective desaturation to bring out the red in the tattoo, which is based on an Alex Grey design. This shot is my personal favourite from the series.

All of Tanya’s tattoos were inked by artist Sean Boon in the Vibe Studio, Mullingar. You can see the entire series of shots here and read more about the shoot and future shoots here on my blog.

I’ve got to be honest, I don’t really care for this series. This photo is the only one that feels like there is any life in it at all, and I think it’s actually the region above her belly button that makes me like it.
I HATE not having anything great to say, because I love your photography!
