My first series of alternative body art portraits, once again working Tanya O’Callaghan. Simple use of selective desaturation to bring out the red in the tattoo, which is based on an Alex Grey design.
All of Tanya’s tattoos were inked by artist Sean Boon in the Vibe Studio, Mullingar.
I’ve got to be honest, I don’t really care for this series. This photo is the only one that feels like there is any life in it at all, and I think it’s actually the region above her belly button that makes me like it.
