The light really makes the picture!

everythings so dark… all the pics…maybe the light on my computer is fucked up again…ah well
how do you keep such good colour with the low light? Im guessing thats cleeres? My shots mostly come out with a red hue over them no matter how custom i make the white balance. Im confused! Actually, what type of lenz are you using?
