Another shot taken during the Happy Mediums recording session. Thanks again to Kenmc for the loan of his beautiful Nikon D70 which allowed me to try some new ideas and styles.
A change from my usual style, trying some black and white stuff and some new framing ideas. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Keep an eye on the lads website, www.mediumsite.com , for some new shots and indeed new tracks very soon.

loving this…i did a few shots quite like this before on colour slide film…they were nice but black and white is defo much nicer. i think once you go black and white its hard to like colour as much. black and white has a power about it and a feeling that colour cant really give you without digital manipulation…. i duno, guess im just a black and white freak! loves it. well done
lovin the new approach, its a good shot and completly open to self-interpertation. the new framing is good too, showing different side to you stuff. i really like it well done!
what i like about this image is that at first glance i am not sure what i am looking at. My imagination runs free and i think of a desolate road on a dark moonless evening, with a funky perspective. I am so glad you chose to make this in black and white. It lends itself to the feelings much greater than a colour image of this guitar would. i like the highlights on the (metal?) but am not as intrigued by the the back ground. It seems the bottom right corner is a bit blown out/ too bright. Burning the bottom corners a little bit might work. But on the other hand, the lightness of the bottom allows the back ground to bleed into the fuzzy edged guitar quite nicely….hmmm. good work!
I’m enjoying these Ross - keep experimenting
